This sort of falls into a hardware/ windows xp pro operating system issue. I have a dell 4600 with 1.50 gb of ram and a 2.8 GHZ processor. All that is being utilized is word processing, email, PC Anywhere, and occasionally opening PDF documents, and pictures. What happens is when Outlook is open, and PC anywhere is open, and windows media player is running listening to music,....when i try to open a PDF file, the process bar shoots up to max, and doesn't open the pdf file. The same goes if i try to open a picture, and anything else until i close one program. Any ideas why this happens? What could i do to fix it? I want to try an fix it with little or no costs.
