Default Computer Randomly Crash & Restart

At random intervals my computer would crash, I would get the blue screen, and then the computer would restart. This happens at least once a day and I use my computer on average 6 hours a day. When this happens, I am usually doing something such as surfing the internet, playing games, downloading... This problem just started early last week, and I have not made any system changes for the past month.

I posted a thread about this issue a few months ago but I had it resolved as I had a memory error ( http://www.computer-juice.com/forums...-gaming-20236/ ). I had my memory replaced. I also ran a memory test earlier this morning to ensure that my memory is working properly, and it passed.

I have not overclocked any components on my computer. I am also positive that my PSU is sufficient to power my rig.

The PSU should be fine.

Bluescreen with proper memory voltage/timings usually means driver issues and not hardware issues, if you post the bluescreen text that might help.

How do I check if my computer is over heating? I use the Nvivia MonitorView software which monitors my GPU temp. I hit 62*C idle, and 75*C when gaming. I am unsure about my CPU.

When my blue screen appears, it appears for just a second, and then the computer automatically reboots. Is there any way to prevent the computer from restarting right after the blue screen appears?

Right Click on “My Computer” and go to “Properties”. Then goto the “Advanced” tab and under the headline “Startup and Recovery”, press the “Settings” button. Untick the “Automatically Restart” box and press OK.

I unticked 'Automatically restart'. I noticed that 'Write an event to the system log' was ticked. I am wondering where my system log is stored? Perhaps I can find out why my computer has previously crashed.

Should be in C:\*the directory*, you can also check Event Viewer.

Since I have ticked off 'Automatically restart', my computer has been crash free for the past two days. I'll keep you guys posted when my computer crashes, and its error message.

It seems that I have spoke too soon. My computer crashed earlier today. I managed to record the following from the blue screen:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

stop: 0x0000000a(0x000000e8, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x806e6a16

Have you installed any hardware recently? If not, check the Device Manager and see if any hardware shows yellow exclamation marks.
