Windows xp home sp 1,2,3 not sure what other information you require but i am sure you will let me know,

When i try to log on to outlook express, outlook email,or skype
my computer freezes and i have to reboot, what i have noticed is that my cpu in task manager is running at between 60%-100% ,100% when i try the above programs and shuts down,

If your computer is running that high even when only on XP, either you have a very old CPU, you could have a virus, or your computer needs cleaning up, try going through the stages here first, then if that doesn't make it work any better try the steps here.

EDIT: Oh, also, can you post your hardware specs?

Ok, well after a quick google, that proccessor is rarther old, manufactured from 2000-2006, however according to the clock speeds it should be able to run XP fine, afterall, when I got XP I was on a P3 at about 400Mhz, and yours is much better, so that's not the problem, So, just go through those links and does as it says, then we can try and sort it out.
