Default Deleting a file help

All right, I have a file on my external HDD that I need to delete. It tells me access is denied, but I have access to everything else on that HDD and every other HDD I have. I am administrator, I've tried through windows and cmd. I cannot do anything do this file. I've rebooted the external and the machine several times. Any ideas?

PS it's a movie, and when I try to play it it still plays, so it's actually there.

Makes you wonder who is really in control sometimes. Us or the computers.

That is why I put on my tin foil hat before logging on each day. I know they are watching me......
