Default Desktop toolbar
Good morning all, and my I first of all wish you all a merry Christmas!

OK, to business. My Mums laptop crashed this morning and on reboot the desktop toolbar, with the start-up menu is no where to be seen. I've restarted it twice with no joy. Is there some way of getting it back that I just can't figure out?!

Try booting into safe mode and see if it appears. If it does, try doing a system restore to before the problem occurred and see if that helps.
