Default "disk read error"

i was trying to play battlefield 2 when i finished installing it told me to update direct x 9.0 and i did then restarted my computer it went to 4 bit and it was very bad color then i uninstall nvdia driver then i had to restart my computer again ...

Hard drive fault, if the PC won't boot try doing a XP repair.
