hi pete21,there is a choice of colour scheme in control panel - appearance, and also vistamizer uses no extra memory than xp does

well i installed it and apart from loads of errors and a load of mess i did manage to get my pc sorted out..STYLER is better than this one i advise to use STYLER is uses little memory as most of it is a theme!
VISTAMIZER is running in task manager and it uses alot of memory am running 2ghz processor with 2gig ram and i got lag even on log in

VISTAMIZER wont let you change the colure of your start menu and task bar
STYLER will :)

hi pete21,i don`t know what you did wrong,,my xp is amd athlon dual core 2.2 processer,2 gig ram,i would not have posted that vistamizer doesn`t use memory if it did, & also if you go to display - appearance & scroll down the color scheme & choose dark xp,you will have the black appearance like vista ,task bar and start menu !!!!!!!!!!!!! and definately no lag to start up or shut down!

jezza
reported it too slowed down his pc
ok well it did with me and it was using memory constantly personally i pay for my memory so wouldn't want it being used that bad on appearance

also that program asks if you would liek to install other programs to add affects (more memory used)
am just saying STYLER has all these..uses very little memory and and does not replace windows files maybe you should try STYLER i think you would keep itit looks more real vista than the program u suggest... its free too
