So I see a thread below with some pretty nice freeware in so I thought I'd compile a list of all the ones I use or know. ;)


Spybot - S&D - Essential Spyware Scanner plus real time immunization
I'm guessing everyones computer as already got this but if you haven't, well...er, get it!

CCleaner - A fantastic program that cleans your computer of all junk and unnecessary temporary files and cookies etc. Highly Recommended.

SpeedFan - A simple little .exe that tells you the temperature of your CPU and HD.

Everest Home Edition - A cool program that give you an indepth look at your computer, e.g CPU specs, HD info, ram info etc.

Ad-Aware 2007 - A good spyware scanner, works well with Spybot. Highly Recommended download.

AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition - A no nonsense anti-virus that is FREE! Get it if you can't afford a paid anti-virus!

Auslogic Disk Defrag - I personally think this out runs the windows version 10 times over, I regularly run this. Fantastic free program.

Well, there you go. A good number of FREE tools that outweigh some dearer counterparts.
