Default File Recovery "Desperate help needed"

I have tryd i think all the links available in the google search engine for file recovery but guess what none of them work .

The other day i downloaded a movie from a website that provides movies and my pc crashed and i had to reinstall my computer which happens like 10 x a month lol .

I would love to recover that video file and among other video files i have download in the past, can anyone recommend me a software that does the job? ill even pay for it if i have to .

PS. I am a newbie.

Search and Recover (you can get a trial or <EDIT>) will recover files, although chances are they will have been corrupted if you have reinstalled windows and therefore formatted the drive.

Let me make this clear as the subject is really beginning to get on my wick.

I do not care what anyone thinks of torrents or mobile phone unlocking or anything for that matter.

If I say its banned then its banned, it is not up for debate or discussion, this is a free forum NOT a democracy, crystal?

If you don't like the rules go somewhere else.

Where exactly did I do that? I simply stated that neither torrents nor phone unlocking are illegal.

And not only that, I said it to a moderator in a PM and didn't make my comment on the forum.

Indeed you did, I never revealed your identity here, you have chosen to argue in public.

You, just like the last person are attempting to argue torrents are legal.

You and I both know it is a legal grey area and only the smart arses try to wiggle out of it by saying it's not illegal bla bla bla.

Whatever way you look at it, you are stealing something from someone else, it really is that black and white, whether it's illegal or not it is immoral and i wont stand for it.

Like I said it is not up for discussion, please don't make me enforce this further.
