Here's the issue.
The Xbox 360 does not support NTFS (wat?), it does however support the Macs file system... HTF, HTS or something...
I found something called MacDrive, but what I'm really trying to figure out is if this program can convert my HDD without losing my data?
I remember that some sort of file system conversion allowed it, but I cannot remember which... may be a false memory (and a format is always required)

Because if I have to format.... then I couldn't do it since I have about 350GB of data on there I can't move anywhere else...

You won't be able to do it without reformatting your Hard Drive, so if that options out for you then.. you're out of options..

Out of interest, why would it help anyway.. 150GB with Xbox (if Elite or bought seperate) and you can transfer media files from PC or sync it.. I just don't see what good this would do?

You have looked at what they charge for that HDD right? I think it's two to three times the actual value.
Plus, using an external HDD is just that much easier for me. I already have my whole music collection sorted in various ways... why go through the hassle that MS would make me go through?

Can you not transfer all the data somewhere else, format, then put the data back?

Yeah they do that with all Xbox accessories...

Their wireless adapter is the only one it lets you use, being 802.11a plus MS's premium they charge a ridiculous £80 for it..

I bet only like 0.1% of people that buy it ACTUALLY HAVE a 802.11a network..

Maybe soon I can, but right now I can't, sadly.

There are third party wireless adapters out there, but they don't work as well.
