I have been looking for hours for a free video recorder that gets your sound aswell, any ideas??

You need a mic for recording external sound such as your voice , but if you want to record the picture and sound from say, a video clip? then just stick the mic against your speaker. Other wise you'll have to edit the sound into your recordings via movie maker etc

Just did some checks, camstudios fps isn't as good as hyper cam but to get rid of hyper cams logo is worth it , but the only noticeable difference is when your recording fast movement such as clips or games, but for simple stuff like tutorials on how to use programs and stuff camstudio comes out on top.

Yes Camstudio can be a little "buggy" but for simple stuff it's well worth the price.
