I used this progam not to long ago, my mate gave me his postcode and I searched for him, I could see his house really well. I could even see the cars and trees.

It's not great quality, but it's a laugh.

Yes its good from a certain distance but if you zoom in too far you overshoot the image DPI. Same problem you get when you zoom in on a small size logo or photo.
One day they will do all the earth with a billion pixel satalite camera.

I heard that Google Earth doesn’t completely cover the whole Earth yet...

I tried searching for house also and could not find it, I think they have al the major cities listed but not the small towns. Well that’s what I think!

It started off with the most important areas in high detail photos then from there theirs medium detail photos its updated all the time 3 years ago only london was in high detail. it will l take a long time for it to be completed. The news channels often use it for showing locations. In the US you can see the latest F-22 raptors and supersonic massive bombers lined up in the air bases. if you look around LA highways you can see car crashes that just happened to be caught on cam. When your town gets included it may be made up of photos from years ago.

Many areas outside the Europe/US are a big blur. My home town in New Zealand it was barely a blob. However my current apartment is very sharp.

If your area is included it's pretty entertaining.

It's also a little shocking if you've never thought about satellite capabilities.
