Default Google Toolbar

I got used to having the Google toolbar on my desktop after I downloaded Google Earth, so I added it to my laptop, too.

I'm not sure my laptop is up to running Google Earth, though.

These toolbars drive me nuts. I have accidentally downloaded yahoo toolbar and google toolbar (twice) and they are sometimes hard to get rid of again.

Yeah i agree, i sometimes go to customers houses to find they have 4 or 5 toolbars installed, more often than not, not by choice.

I cant stand them but the Google one is great for PR checking.

I also have been using the spellcheck feature and I like the pop-up blocking.

To be honest I really hate any toolbar, I especially dislike Yahoo's toolbar I find it makes my pages load really slow and it is really hard to get rid of. I just class toolbars as spy ware in my opinion.

I really like my Google toolbar. I use it a lot, especially the link for Gmail. :) I also like and use the Yahoo toolbar. If I get tired of them taking up so much of my screen, I just use the full screen option for a while.

Default Google Toolbar

The Google toolbar really does come in handy, that is for sure.

The newer version of the Google toolbar (I just got 2 days ago) has some newer features which includes the ability to sign into your Google account right off the toolbar. Quick and efficient, also much safer I believe.

There is also the new feature added to the toolbar for when you search which shows you suggested searches as you type and also your previous searches that seem to match what you are typing in.

I find this very annoying and with the G right in the search part of the bar, it is very crowded looking and does not look very good. I wish I could switch back to my old bar :(

I would also like to say for all of the webmasters out there that there is a toolbar (I think Firefox) that shows you the page rank of the website you are on. This comes in very handy especially with such a limited number of ways to figure out what your page rank is.

Thanks for reading,
Jason
