ok i have purchased somthing online and got an email from UPS saying to pick it up at there ofice and theres an attachment. i opend it and it was a zip so i opend that and it was a software icon but it said to extract it so i did and i got a .EXE file with a microsoft office icon on it. i double clicked and it came up the the run, save or cancel thing so i hit run. the fil dissapears and nothing happens.

What do i do?

Why do you think UPS would send you an executable file in a zip? You probably have a virus now, go here and post a log. In the future don't open exe files from your email.

Yep .... that's a well known delivery method for Malware ..... as Carbon says, you are probably infected now with a virus/trojan.
