I have textorial/auditorial learning disability meaning that I have to hear what I am learning and also read or see it. my college uses a program called Kurzweil and nuance makes a program called OmniPage. The problem is I don't have the money to pay for the fancy program that do all that and then some I am just looking for a open source version found one and did a search on google and founnd like 20 hits on OCR programs. I was wondering where I can find reviews on them all my searches has came up with nothing. I want to refrain from using freeware for obouse reasons I prefer open source. I have a camera that will do for the scaning.

Heres what I came up with:

Know any?? it will greatly help.

Well for a start pest bud, if you wrote to your local council / goverment and told them that you would want to continue and learn more on computers I reccommened you ask them for a one time funding for this program. If you cant get this program then, you will need to get a freeware program If I can find you one program like such i will post it here good luck with the hunting for this program.
