Default Help with wifi

I am looking for some wifi stuff with something I can have notefy me with a sound when it connects to an un encriped network.

Windows should never connect to a network without you telling it to. Whether this takes the form of you connecting manually or setting it to autoconnect to a specific SSID.

Could you clarify?

As the others have said, it will only automatically connect if you have told it to and even then it still warns you what its doing.
