Hello,
I am in charge of providing technical support to the executive staff of the company I work for. This includes the CEO, CFO, COO, etc. Lately I have been tasked with providing news ways to enhance the support I give to them. You know, make their IT lives a little bit easier. I have tried searching the web for ideas but nothing seems to be what I'm looking for. I'm not necessarily looking for new software programs or hardware or even good customer service skills (Although a great software programs would be nice). What I am really looking for is things I can do to facilitate their computer lives. For example, we just started providing a travel bag that already comes stocked with extra laptop batteries, cell phone batteries, and chargers. We always have this bag ready so it can be picked up at a moments notice. These are the types of ideas I am looking for. A little bit about our environment. We are a relatively large business with about 1700 end user computers/laptops. Our executives exclusively use Dell E-series laptops (E4300, E6400, and E6500). Company blackberry's are also standard for our executives. We use Windows XP Professional with a Lotus Domino server for email and lotus notes for end user email. Our executives travel a lot so weight and space are a concern for them. Security is a must as all our data is confidential. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

Yuck
![]() I guess with executives you just want to make sure there stuff is as reliable as possible with the minimum downtime. Maybe give them a phone number they can call at any time (even out of hours, in the middle of the night) so if they have problems whilst away they can contact you easily. Give them nice big posh LCD displays
