il try my best to explain here goes... im trying to extract an exe file so i can let windows install the driver for me through device manager, when i mean extract i mean so all the files are exposed so windows can grab the files it needs, i know how to extract files through winrar but for some reason when i right click on the exe it doesnt have the option to let me extract all the files

I don't think it's possible to do that, not using winrar anyway. Try seeing what google comes up with about it, but I wouldn't try persisting with winrar because it just doesn't do what you want it to.

its a driver for a network adaptor il give you the link so you can try if you want but ive extracted my audio drivers printer drivers but for some reason it doesnt work on this one

i think i know what you can do - you don't need to extract any files because windows will extract the exse for you anyway (at least should) that has what windows has done for me... so i would just run the exe and windows should extract the exe and then grab the files and it should work for you.
