hiya,
I used to have limewire until I realised that it's harmful etc, so I uninstalled it. But now I keep getting this error message as though it's trying to start up every 5 mins or so, where the options are either "ok" or "copy report". I tried reinstalling like it said and the uninstalling it again but it's still doing it, can anyone tell me how I stop this?

Also I keep getting another message all the time saying that the server is busy and "the program cannot load because the other program is busy" or something, where the options are "switch to" or "retry". What is this and how do I get rid?

Thanks

OK so i dont know if this would work or not. First, go in to Control Panel, then into Add/Remove Programs. Once you're there, locate LimeWire, click on it and click the new button that says 'Remove". If LimeWire isn't there, reinstall the same version and then redo the process.

Go Here and start a new thread with a HijackThis log.

Download HijackThis (HJT)
  • Double-click on HJTInstall.
  • Click on the "Install" button to install.
  • It will automatically place HJT in C:\Program Files\TrendMicro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe.
  • Upon install, HijackThis should open for you.
  • Next click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button
  • HijackThis will scan and then a log will open in notepad.
  • Copy and then paste the log in your post.
    • Don't have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
