Just installed it and think is brilliant.

Tabbed browser and sites look noticeably better than IE6.

Its beta but no problems so far for me.

Dave.

Yep I think so to I use Internet explorer 7 and I think it is so much better.

I like the tabbed look it's easier to use, I have been using it for a month or two now. Have you only just heard about it?

I also like IE best. I'm wondering how long it will be before it is ready for general release. I'm still staying away from beta.

Will IE7 be an automatic update one most pc's? I read somewhere that you had to take action to prevent it from being installed when the time comes. Has anyone else heard this?

I am a beta tester for Microsoft. That is why i have Windows Vista RC1 build on my computer, I also have IE7 in my computer as well. As far as I can tell, Everything that is beta at microsoft at this point in time will be release after the final tests of Vista are finished. I only say this because they are releasing the new Windows media player 11, IE7 Microsoft office beta, and many others to work on the new platform that Vista runs on. so When vistas out then they will know what they can do with those programs.

Firefox is the best. Quick load time , tab feature's a lot better then Microsoft's (Internet Explorer). It would be the most populist if it was installed on windows computers instead of Internet Explorer.

I tried IE 7 ages ago, I wasn't that impressed.

Sure, the advances are nice, but I think it might be too little too late. Both Firefox and Opera have been using tabbed browsing for several versions, and they tend to be faster, and more stable (well, maybe not stable for Firefox, although they did fix that memory leax...).

I think IE 7 might be 'nice' for the un-geek masses, but I don't think it will tempt many of the more experienced users back to IE.

IE7 is officially out now and I understand it will be 'pushed' onto people via automatic updates in about 2 weeks time.

This should be really interesting when all those sites that were made to work in pre ie7 browser suddenly don't work :)
