Best thing you can do is use those at home and become more proficient in those areas.

You're better off with say 3 things you're really good at, than 15 things that you can just about manage to open a new doc in, and other than that you're crap.

Seriously though, just use like Flash, C (whatever variant) and something else - or whatever interests you most.

Personally I think Flash is a good one, so many people want employees who can create effective banners for their website or whatever.

But it depends how quickly you'll be in the game, I reckon give it five years and it'll be either totally obselete, or we'll be on Flash Player 267, using ActionScript 83.0 and it will be madly different from how we know it now.

Default Just Need Some Advice for an IT Student

Photoshop is good fun to use, and theres loads of help, tutorials, forums and resources available online. Its amazing some of the results you can do, and its pretty straight forward to use :-)

But yeah, as Fordy says, your best of concentrating on 1 or 2, and getting really good, than just knowing the basics in loads!
