Hi Folks,
In relation to my unanswered Post in the Windows OS forum regarding persistent System Log entries I've just been told: "Error Deleting Key "Cannot delete ControlSet002: Error while deleting key." I did a search of the registry for an item that keeps cropping up in the Event Viewer Logs and it looks as though I have two sets of programming on the one computer for one router connected to one computer, and that might be why I keep getting an Error message in the System Log that says I have a computer with the same name on my network (a network of one computer to one router). So I tried deleting this ControlSet002 from the registry to see what would happen, but it wouldn't let me. Any ideas how I can get this eBeast to stop thinking it has another computer with the same name? |

Try running this.
I have used it many times and safely deleted everything found. As always, backup before deleting anything in the registry. http://www.thecomputerforums.co.uk/file32.html |
