Hello! I have internet issues and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my LAN
For example, when I go on myspace, I can only see half the images that are on a page, lets just say I was looking through someone's pictures, I can only see half of them, the remainder are white and eventually come up with a red X in the corner, however I will refresh the page and they will all come up or I cant see ANY of them at all.
Many times also if I try to access sites such as facebook the website never loads instead I get a white page as it attempts to get there and after a while it says "page cannot be displayed"
I also cannot connect to the itunes store on my itunes.
However the problems are inconsistant and seem to go away and come back all the time.
This is not an internet explorer issue because it is the same on firefox and netscape
I have Macafee firewall but it happened when I had Norton too so I doubt its firewall problems
Can anyone help?

This is probably nothing to do with your LAN.

My advice is get rid of McAfee as it is crap.

Get something free like Avast or AVG anti-virus and do a full virus scan

Then get spybot and do a full scan.

Finally get Ccleaner and clean up the PC.

All the software above is available in our downloads section.

Let us know the results.

I will try this.
However I have had this problem for a few months, and I wiped my computer clean (put the recovery disk in) this was for other reasons, but the problem is still there rightaway

Well that changes things then, if this happens on a clean install it quite possible could be your LAN card.

Easiest test is to try a new one they are only about £10.
