| It doesn't work they won't let my download any drivers because hp has a requirement to download drivers from their website not the driver website, and since i said before that i couldn't download from the hp website because i can't seem to find my computer anywhere there ( scroll up if needed ) im pretty much stuck. |

| It shouldn't matter where you get your drivers, if anything it's better to get them straight from Nvidia. Who's stopping you from downloading the drivers from there? Surely there's not some program HP put on your laptop to prevent you from downloading anything from a different site. Regardless of where you get them from, HP or straight from Nvidia, if the drivers are for the 8400 GS then they will be the same drivers. |
