Hey all im fairly good with computers but ive never really needed to do anything with software. Im a lighting designer and i have software that allows me to control basic lighting through a LAN for focusing lights ect. the problem is this software is very basic. it doesant allow any programming. It uses a bit of software on the host computer, and on the control comuter/ pda you simply load internet explorer and type in the ip addres of the computer with the software running and you get a basic screen with a text box and a few buttons for channels etc. Now all this works great but is there any way that i could use some kind of software that works in the same way except that it interfaces with my real lighting software that i run shows with. That uses key combinations to be controlled. so i guess it would be easier to have the host computer generate the right combinations, and just have the pda send a simple key stroke to this software which would interprete it and generate the right macro? does any of this make sense? Please help and point in the right direction.

Much thanks
~~aaron
