I have a program installed on my laptop called Rightview Pro CE300 (baseball instructional program) but lost my install cds. My laptop is about to blow up because its old and worn out. I want to save that program off my computer, put it on DVD, so I can install it later on my new computer. Help appreciated.

Sometimes if you just copy the folder over, it works. But it only works for some programs, because I've tried it and not all programs can be copied. If it requires registration, it probably won't work, because you need the registry keys.

Chances are it won't work as when a program is installed as well as writing the data to the hard drive it writes various registry values and such. Have a look and see if you can get another copy off ebay, or see if you can find the disks.
