Hi.

I recently performed a fresh install on my laptop.I bought it with Vista, but chose to have it replaced with XP. It's a Toshiba.
Of couse, after the fresh install, my computer was left with practically nothing, so I needed to download a whole load of stuff to get to work like it did before.

I've got the sound working perfectly, but I can't get any of my PC games working, like Star Wars KOTOR, because it says that my computer is missing 3D hardware.

I should also mention that I had no problems before changing to XP. Its got enough speed and memory and everything else.

I suppose my real question is: Where can I download a recent piece of 3D hardware, or anything that'll do the trick. I've been searching around online for a long time, and I've had no success.

By the way, I also download the lastest DirectX, but still nothing, and I can't even download Display Drivers, like ATI Redaon, because of missing requirements.

Thanks for reading!

The problem is that you have not installed the drivers for the Graphics chip which is vital for gaming.

What is the specific error you receive when downloading the Display Drivers (screenshot if you can)?

What is the exact model of the laptop?

Sorry, I can't provide a screenshot. It just says that my computer does not meet the requirements.

My Computer's full Details are:

Windows XP (SP3) Home Edition
Genuine Intel CPU

Do you know where I can get what I need?

Thanks for helping!! I've been at this for ages

Do you know the specific model e.g. "Toshiba Satellite Pro A300-2C4"?

Also, you can go to System -> Device Manager in the control panel and look for yellow warning signs (/!\) - those devices don't have drivers and you'll have to fetch them manually. The proper drivers should be on the site.

I don't know why you'd switch to two-generation-old XP now though.
