Hi all I am using McAfee anti virus software and I wanted to get your opinions on this software.

I have been using it for a while now but I am not sure about it, it is either doing it's job extremely well as it never seems to pick up any virus or it is not protecting my computer problem because it's not picking anything up.

Has any one used this specific anti virus software? What do you think about it?

You can always tell if you just donwload some freeware antiviruses and scan your computer. If they find anything that Mcafee didn't detect, it's probably not doing it's job.
What version of McAfee do you have and how much did you pay for it?
Personally, I think it's better to just download free antivirus software and use that. If you know which ones to download and run, your computer will be kept perfectly safe at all times.

Said it before and ill say it again, I'm not a fan, it slows machines down to much for my liking and that alone is enough for me not to use it.

Dave.

McAfee, like Norton and, god bless it AOL is like Ivy on a wall inside your PC.
It just gets every where and is a real pain to remove.
A bit like trying to get shut of your mother in law at Christmas.
