Hey guys,
I recently decided to play a game called Medieval 2: Total War. It had originally worked but for some reason it came up with the following error below, if anybody could help would be a massive favor. Thank You ![]() [You may have to click the image to make it larger]

This may help:
http://ask-leo.com/how_do_i_fix_a_cy...py_a_file.html Also check your graphics card and system are up to spec for playing the game. I've had problems installing games before - it stops halfway through install or doesnt recognise the disk. Ive always blamed the Optical Drive but noticed when i upgraded the Graphics card - it worked. Just a thought. Good luck. |

"cyclic redundancy check error" is Windows way of telling you it cannot read the data or the data is corrupted. As this is from a CD, try cleaning the disk or if you have more than one optical drive, try reading the disk from the other drive .... it may be more forgiving .
