Ok so my problem is that my desktop is becoming cluttered with App links (most i need some I dont) and its slightly hectic. I remember a while back that i had an app that allowed me to have several desk tops.

I've looked into it and found a few, but all they did was run different applications in a desktop, any changes to the icons happened to all of them.

Does anyone know of a program that can do this for me, thanks!

If you mean shortcuts, why not put them into Start/All Programs and access them there.

It kinda works, but it seems that i cant have 2 of the same icons on 2 different "desktops" because its still technically 1 desktop.

as to putting them into the start menu, i dont know why, but that doesnt appel to my OCD as much as having several desktops does. Im weird

instead of having several desktops, if you want quick access to your apps, i suggest you try the 'launchy' app or google desktop to gain quick access to your files and apps. launchy lets you quick search any app as you start typing. it sits quietly as a textbox on your desktop.

If you have an ATI graphics card, I'm pretty sure ATI Hydravision can do this... Haven't used it myself, but had a look at the setup.
