I have a Dell Latitude D500 and I'm using windows xp. I find recently when I open some applications my keyboard doesn't work. I cannot type anything into selection boxes, options menus etc etc. However my keyboard works fine in word, notepad and in windows as a whole. I have tried using the on screen keyboard and it does the same thing. I contacted tech support for one of the apps. They told me they didn't know how to fix it and it could be a problem deep within my os. Anybody have any idea of what it could be?
