| Hello, I am having an issue with a program running on my old Tosiba T1000 laptop. I have a machine that is very was originally very expensive and now is hard to find. Unfortunately, it can only communicate with computers from its era (1988ish) like the T1000. The program that it came with is runs off a 3.5 inch floppy disk. I was doing in experiment with the disk on my pc with windows xp. I decided that I should copy the contents of the disk onto this newer computer so i could read and study the programs it runs to the machine more easily. Instead, I foolishly hit cut instead of copied and removed all the contents of the disk. Now, since I've put them back, the old T1000 can not read them correctly. I previously made back ups of the files onto a computer with windows 98. When i tried these files on the T1000 I had the same problem. I believe the T1000 is running DOS 2.1. I also tried to fix the disk on a computer with win98 through scan disk. That was unsuccessful and now i feel it was probably foolish also. I am guessing it has to do with the file systems. Does this make sense? Is there anything you can do to help me? Thanks, Charles |

| If you have access to email on the old machine, try sending them to yourself and pick them up that way.
