Hey,
I have these Packard Bell Master disks which I have used successfully numerous times before, but for some reason they have just stopped working. The process goes normally first as the computer begins to read Disk 1, but then it asks me for my machine serial number which I insert, and then I get a message saying "Error 2". When I click OK it takes me to a black screen then says "Exit from OEMSETUP" I should note that the recovery process never used to ask me for a serial number. Please help if possible. I'm in desperate need of wiping my hard drive and it's just driving me up the wall. Cheers. |

What Operating system are you running and is on the discs? Windows Vista plays up after a certain amount of installation from the same serial number.
