Default Pc to laptop comunication.

I have just bought a laptop so i can update my family tree whilst on the move.
I have succesfully transfered my existing details to the laptop from my pc.
As i input new information onto the laptop is there any way that this information can also be updated to my pc without having to input it all twice ?

sorry if this is a stupid question but i am fairly new to all of this technical stuff.

Thanks

Get a USB drive. Copy all the files onto the USB, then plug it into your computer and all the data will be there.

As per Meshios's reply.

That or an external hdd. Could even simply copy it to an optical disc and then use the disc as a backup.

Hi Bill ! thanks for your reply. I have got a memory stick and have transfered the original programme from the pc to the laptop. What i cant seem to do is transfer any updated information.
Have you got any ideas what i am possibly doing wrong ?

thanks Hunkychunky1

Are you saving the files with the updated information and copying them between the two computers?

For example, my wife and I use Word on both the desktop PC and the laptop. We each have an SD card which we save files to, then physically take the SD card to the other computer and replace the old files on that one.
