For ages I've had this annoying Windows Installer running Dell's Support Center, on every logon..

I've tried removing in Add/Remove, removing manually from the HD.. but even when it appears to be gone (it deletes normally) the next time I log on it installs and its there again!!

Even if I don't do anything just leave it installed, it still re-installs it (or at least says it is) every time I log on.

Its particularly annoying as while its running nothing much seems to want to load.. Windows Sidebar, and my Network connection wait for it to be done before loading..

NOTE: I'm quite happy for the whole application to go, not just the Installer, as I don't use and never will (CJ is my support Center )

Also, for future reference, I find Winpatrol is very good, it keeps an eye on your computer and notifies you if a new program is trying to get onto the startup list, then you can allow/deny it, and you can set programs to startup after a set amount of time.

Why would I turn off delightful little Scotty!!!

I think I'll edit the sound to bark a few times, and set it as my log on tone
