My picture folder takes up to 1 minute to even open when its on my local machine. When i created a shortcut on my server, when i open it from my server on my machine its takes seconds. I have a 2.67GHZ processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. My computer is a business computer. Another odd thing is.......it didn't used to take as long. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

How many pictures are in the folder? And have you tried sending the photos to a new folder 10-25-all at a time and checking to see if the new folder slows down too?
