| I have an Inspiron 1501 out of warranty as of 04-2008 purchased the computer only last year in April. I now have five errors BIOS version 2.3.0 Bus 08 device 1b function.00; bus 08 device 1c function 00:; bus 08 device 1d; bus 08 device 1e; bus 08 device 1f--resource conflict PCI on motherboard. I can use the internet in safe mode only. No other functions work. Is this laptop worth trying to repair (went to iYogi Computer support services) they gave up and said to just computer in safe mode until it dies. |

| Hi Matthew Even i am also thinking that iYogi's were right that use your system or laptop in safe mode b/c you have lots of problems in it. Its better for you to use in safe mode |

| Are you mad? Use the computer in safe mode? Safe mode is there so techs can fix issues, it is not intended for every day use and has almost all features cut out from it. Any shop or person advising to use a PC in safe mode until it dies clearly has not idea what they are on about and shouldn't be in business. |
