| Many years I obtained this bit of software from Woolys called pro DJ or something.

It ran on 98 and included stuff like drums, beats, vocals, riffs, cymbals etc and I could thow a track together similar to the one you did Dave. I could add bits here and there at my leisure and vary the insert length as I could the tempo. I used to love to do stuff like this and still would, even though I am long in the tooth. Basic thing I want to know is there the same sort of software out there that won't cost me an arm and a leg or better still free? My System: #

| Hey thanks mate, I shall google it when I get a free moment. Edit: Can I make tracks from scratch rather than pull files from mp3's etc. |

| Downed it and installed it mate, looks good and the initial track demo as to what's on offer is a good idea. Stick around with me on this though as I'm bound to make a bugger of it? |

| Yes you can make your own music from scratch, its a full on sequencer, sampler etc. Many professionals use it, I even remember reading Linkin Park use it for their music, that's the US metal band. |
