Hi, Ive looked ALL over the internet but cannot find the answer to this question. I have fully installed Macromedia Flash 8 Pro on my mothers computer without any problems and I love it but would like to have it on my computer. Everytime I try installing it on my computer I get this error:

2755. 1601, C:/WINDOWS/Downloaded Installations/Macromedia Flash 8/Macromedia Flash 8.msi

Now, Ive gone to that folder and tried everything, deleting the file and installing again, ive tried other items in that folder, nothing has worked.
Can anybody tell me what in the hell I need to do in order to get this thing on my computer?

Sounds like you have remnants from an old install. This is a frustrating but common problem.

Download the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller: Here

*Important* Then immediately run CCleaner using both the Registry as well as Cleaner functions. If you do not have CCleaner please install it by clicking http://www.thecomputerforums.co.uk/file6.html

Then try a fresh install.

Dammit!
I did EVERYTHING you told me too, a couple times.
I even went as far as uninstalling everything that started with "Adobe"
And I'm still getting that same error message.
Any thoughts?

I have never seen the Adobe Uninstaller fail to do the job.

I will look around and see if I can find something else.

would that cause this problem?

You have got me there. Why is it in Japanese?
Did it get all the way uninstalled or were there problems.
