I can't seem to instal an Operating System on my Virtual Machine. The VM is set up properly. It always halts at the DCHP bit and always displays some message saying can't find boot device ..."

I'm sure i think i have a bootable disk.

I got a set of folders & files (for windows vista 32-bit):

- Boot
- Support
- efi
- Sources
- upgrade
- autorun (setup info)
- bootmgr (file)
- setup (application)

I did 2 ways:

1) Burn those to a dvd as a data dvd
2) using a free ISO creator and make an ISO out of it.

Then when i go to the Virtual PC 2007 and under CD:
- i choose "use physical drive" option but with no luck
- then i tried "capture ISO image" using my created iso, again with no luck

*when i insert the dvd into my drive - it pops up the autplay dialog asking me to if i want to run the setup.exe (so the dvd looks like its working)

*also burnt the ISO to a disc and ran it to see if its bootable, and to my suprise it wont give me the option to boot from it, looks like its not bootable after all but surely the above way works..

So am i missing something or have i done anything wrong? I have followed step by step on the tutorial posted here.

cheers
