Problems with my web cam

i've installed the software, and ive installed the drivers for it but everytime i click the icon on my desktop to start it up it tells me "cannot connect to camera"! but everything is installed right, its driving me insane. its a dynex mini webcam please help

Is your camera connect to the USB through a USB multi connector? If it is connect it directly to the computer.

Make sure its compatible with your computer. Have to checked what specs it needs to run on?
