Default Protected Files

I have a disc which has a zipped folder burnt on it by me from about 4-5 years ago. This folder it appears was password protected and of course i havent a clue what the password could be. Is there a way to break/recover the password or any other way ...

Is there a way to break/recover the password or any other way of entering the file to recover the data from this zipped folder???

You can try a recovery program such as this, but if it's an encrypted file, you may not be able to retrieve it.
