Get some more RAM and a better GFX card.

Try this, Go to Start>Run and type msconfig. In the Start Up tab uncheck any unnecessary programs from starting. This will help your memory issue. Do the same with the Services Tab but before un-checking any items make sure you know what your doing.

And like Dave Hybrid said. Get some more RAM and a better GFX card. Get at least 1 GB or more of DDR2 PC2-6400. Make sure that the Latency on the memory is low. The lower the latency the faster the memory.

Well software can only do so much and you have covered 99% of it.

Ultimately it is your hardware that denotes your PC speed.

With that graphics card and 512mb of RAM you are never going to break any speed records.

60 is more than enough for RAM. You should be able to get 2GB with that kind of money and it will help your systems performance. Go luck eh.

http://www.newegg.ca/

will be the most cost effective way, make sure you get the right type/speed.

That said games are GFX card dependent so you will need a better GFX card if you want better game performance.

RAM will likely only make a difference to load times.
