| I am the IT manager of a casino, and Federal regulations require my department to produce reports that log password changes for all the workstations on our network. The network is a Windows peer-to-peer. Does anyone know any software that can scan remote workstations for password changes and then generate a report? I tried GFI Events Manager, but it seems to work erratically. It may connect fine one day, but the next it may report that it cannot find a workstation or that there is a bad user name or password, even though nothing has changed. |

| Do you run a domain based setup then? Surely it would just be easier to force users to change passwords every month or so when they log on?

| A small portion of our network is on a domain, but for the most part, each workstation uses the standard Windows "workgroup". |

| May I suggest getting all the computers on a domain? Trust me, it'll reduce your workload 100 fold.

| I think that is the route I'll eventually have to go. Thanks for the advice. |
