I have a HP Pavilion dv2-1010ed notebook.
I have re-installed windows xp but have no driver CDs so am looking on the internet for them. I really need help!
I want to access the internet but it says 'the wizard cannot find your network hardware' so where can I find this network hardware to download on the internet?

My motherboard is a Flextronics 3040, I think the important bit is RS690/RS690M.

Please Im here all the time if you have any questions please ask and I'll find out, I really need these drivers!!

I've been on HP, I cant find any audio drivers or network or anything, so Im screwed aren't I?

no I mean HP update requires the internet in order to update my computer, transferring the file itself is not a problem, I have a usb stick.

ok found out that my network hardware is on HP here ... http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...932434&lang=en ... but when I install it, it goes through it fine, then a big black blank box comes up and then goes after a second, then nothing happens, I restart... nothing changes...

You have access to the internet from another machine - thus download the above drivers onto a usb stick and transfer them to the problem machine. Although if you dont have USB controller driver installed a CD might be better.
