Really slow transferring files.
Does it return to normal behaviour if you power every piece of equipment off, count to ten and then bring it all back up again in a reasonable order (nearest the internet back toward the computer)?
If it does, what triggers your equipment into that state the next time? Just waiting a fixed period, or running a program, or what?
Perhaps you could describe your environment. Useful details would be your computer manufacturer and model, its operating system and patch level, whether you get onto the internet with two tins and a stretched piece of string, that sort of detail. Oh, and what current precautions you take against unwanted virus / trojan horse / malware / adware infection and whether you scanned for them recently and what the result was.
