There are only two that I will use that are safe. Wise registry cleaner and the one built into CCleaner.

Download CCleaner It is suggested to download the CCleaner - Slim - No Toolbar which is the version without the Yahoo! Toolbar.

Wise Registry Cleaner

Download Wise cleaner also. It goes a little deeper than CCleaner but still in a safe manner. I have removed everything found with no problems for a year or so now. It's a good tool along with their disk cleaner as well. You'll be surprised as to what all extra it will find.

Hi EvilFantasy,

I have loads of website registered in my Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Windows\Internet Setting\ZoneMap\Domains. These websites look unfamiliar and scrupulous for me.

Is it safe to delete those manually? Can CCleaner and Wise Cleaner help me with these?

Thank you!

Those are the Hosts file entries. They are good as those sites are blocked from adding anything malicious to the browser. Leave them.

Hi EvilFantasy,

Thank you for the info. I did try CCleaner and disk cleaner. They are very good. After the cleaning, my computer runs faster.

Again, thanks!
