Default Runtime Error

Hi All
I think my computer is starting to pack up!!

Last time I was on here I was trying to get 'Office home and student' to work......in the end we rang the microsoft people up and even they couldnt get it to work....in the end we had to 'create' another user account loaded it and it worked, Microsoft said there must be something wrong with my 'registry'.....now it is doing it again...I keep getting 'runtime error' msgs after a short while on the internet!! Did one of those 'free' registry scans' and they found over 1,000 'faults' Wots going on!!....had a look and found lots of registry 'fixers' but I dont know what to do, not very computer minded... r these 'fixers' any good and if they are which one would you go for? are they worth it? or shud I just bite my lip and get a new machine???? A little bit fed up at the moment. would very much appreciate and help/advice.
Terry

www.ccleaner.com is the safest free cleaner there is.
