Okay, well I have a Logitech wireless desktop set. Due to some problems with the drivers that meant I couldnt have the thing plugged into a ps/2 and use the software suite at the same time, I connected it via USB. All fine, but it used to fully go into sleep mode (i.e all fans, leds, strip lights etc off) with the front little light thingy flashing like it was supposed to. Now I've connected the reciever via usb though all my fans and neons stay on but the hd spins down and the light thingy flashes like normal. What do i do to make it go 'fully' into standby instead of just the pointless fake standby?

The ability to stop this happening will be somewhere in the BIOS.
Please give details about your system, make model etc so we can try to help.

Something in Power Management or similar is where you will need to look.

OK yes, i changed it in the bios to S3 power save mode, and it worked ok until i restarted it, then it reverted back to what it was doing before. I'll have a play around with the wireless reciever and drivers and see what i come up with.
edit: oh yeah and its a custom built pc specs are on my public profile
