Every time anyone logs onto my PC a window pops up for Sonic Activation Module saying the feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the Sonic Activation Module disk and click ok.

No-one has any idea where this has come from and how to get rid of it and the only way to close it is to use the task manager.

Can anyone help because it is quite frustrating!?

Just remove the program from add/remove programs in control panel.

It's no-where to be seen in the control panel and I have absolutely no idea what programme it's related to.

I previously used this:
When Office2003 couldn’t find file SKU011.CAB:

regedit -> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE] -> [SOFTWARE] -> [Microsoft] -> [Office] -> [11.0] -> [Delivery] -> {90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9} -> [CDCache] change to [0] …. Done!

However, Sonic Activation Module has since come back and the above no longer works!

Cheers for that link. This worked perfectly:

Go to Start and Run.
Type in MSCONFIG
Go to the Startup Tab on the right.
Disable the following 2 items in the list.

ISUSPM
ISSCH

Click Apply and the Close - When prompted to do so Restart the System.

Then on restart, just check the System Config Utility box that says 'Don't show this again' and you're done.
